In this project I was told to make a simple object from a reference image of my choice, I chose to make a simple, low poly sword. To do this I first added a box to the scene, I then used the edit mesh modifier to shape the blade of my sword, afterwards I created another box and used the edit mesh modifier to shape the part that goes in between the handle and the blade. I then created 5 cylinders and sized them to make a handle with a grip. After that, I changed the colors of my sword and created a simple background. I then set up the lighting of my scene and rendered many images from different perspectives. Overall, I enjoyed this project and liked the Idea of making something off of reference art.

In this project I was instructed to make a basic pencil and a basic snowman. For the pencil, I used the add tool to add a cylinder to my project, I then went into the edit tab to change the amount of sides my pencil had. I then used the add tool to add, 2 cylinders for the metal part and the eraser, 3 rings to add detail to the metal, and 2 cones for the tip of the pencil. After that I changed the colors, added a floor, added some lighting, and rendered my pictures. For the snowman I added 4 spheres for the body and head, I added 4 more spheres for the buttons, 4 spheres for eyes and pupils, 3 boxes for the mouth and arms, a cone for the carrot nose, and 3 cylinders for the hat and stripe on the hat. After that I colored it to look like a snowman, added a floor and the background, added a light source, and rendered my images. I believe this project was a good way for me to demonstrate all that I have learned in this class.
This project was a simple and fun introduction to 3ds max. For this project I used the create tool to make different shapes such as cubes and spheres and animated them to make it look like 2 balls rolling through a town. I created my animation by using physics to simulate the balls falling and then adding a force to push the ball through the town, by doing this I made the animation more realistic. I also added a thin donut like object which the balls roll through, it also turns after the first one rolls through to allow the second one to pass through.
